Vegan Desserts you must try

by | Jan 29, 2022

With many people giving up animal-based foods for plant-based meals, we have become more creative with our vegan breakfasts, lunches, and dinner. Of course, there are tons of ways to make delicious meals without dairy or meat, but it’s so easy to feel stuck every once in a while. But that doesn’t mean that vegan desserts can’t be as tasty as ever. Whether you’re cooking for yourself or a few loved ones, here are some absolutely amazing vegan desserts you must try:

1. Cranberry Sorbet

Great for about eight people, these melt in your mouth and take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey. You only need some fresh or frozen cranberries, sugar, ginger, orange juice, and fresh lime juice to make this happen. Start by boiling the sliced ginger, sugar, cranberries, and about two cups of water in a medium saucepan. As soon as the cranberries are soft enough, stir in the lime and orange juice. Strain, extract the cranberry mixture, and discard the skins. After it cools, you can freeze and enjoy them with some cookies.

2. Banana Ice Cream

It’s time to experiment with making your very own banana ice cream. You don’t need an ice cream maker for this as it is one of the most basic ice creams you would ever make. Just get some frozen bananas, put them into a blender, and set the machine to work until it’s smooth. That’s it! If you want to get creative with flavors, you can try out vanilla, chocolate, or peanut butter. Banana is one of the healthiest fruits out there, despite being labeled by some as unhealthy due to its sugar content. However, this is a great way to give your body a good dose of vitamin C, potassium, and vitamin B6.

3. Vegan cheesecake

Traditionally, most people would make a cheesecake with lots of cream cheese and graham crackers. But there’s a vegan version that is just as good or even better. All you need is some cocoa powder, dates, maple syrup, coconut milk, and cashews to whip this up nicely. Since cashews are the primary ingredients in this vegan cheesecake, let’s talk about them a little. Apart from the fact that you can have this cheesecake ready in less than fifteen minutes, cashews are a nutritional powerhouse that does so much good for the body. To make this cheesecake, all you need is a food processor. Unlike traditional cheesecakes that come with the challenge of getting the proper bake, you don’t have to worry about this here. Freeze, and this yummy dessert is ready to go.

These are so good that you won’t even notice that they are vegan. It’s possible to get the best out of your desserts, even as a vegan. So, even if you don’t get to indulge in some dairy-filled desserts, you won’t be missing out on anything when you try out these nutritious vegan desserts that will have your taste buds dancing in delight all day long.
